About the Artwork
Are your paintings original? Yes. Each original painting is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted work created by Heather Caulfield. Originals are never duplicated as paintings. Limited edition prints may be offered at the artist’s discretion.
Do you offer prints of your originals? Yes. Select paintings are available as archival fine art prints. Print sizes and availability vary by collection.
Will my original painting look exactly like the photos online? Every effort is made to photograph artwork accurately. However, colors may vary slightly depending on screen settings and lighting.
Are imperfections normal in original artwork? Yes. Original hand-painted works may contain natural texture, brush marks, paint drips, or small irregularities. These are part of the authenticity and character of original art.
Purchasing & Payment
What payment methods do you accept? Major credit cards, secure online checkout, and approved digital payment platforms are accepted.
Do you offer payment plans for large paintings? Yes. Payment plans may be available for qualified collectors. Please inquire directly.
Can I reserve a painting? Originals are available on a first-come basis unless placed on an approved hold or payment plan.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
Full payment must be received before shipment unless a written payment plan is approved.
Payment plans are binding agreements under Ohio contract law.
Failure to complete payment plans may result in:

Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship? Shipping is available within the United States. International shipping may be available upon request.
How long does shipping take? Original artwork typically ships within 5–10 business days unless otherwise noted. Prints may ship sooner.
Are large paintings expensive to ship? Larger works require professional packaging and insured delivery. Shipping costs reflect safe handling and full insurance coverage.
Do you insure original artwork during shipping? Yes. All original paintings are insured for their full purchase value while in transit. Artwork is professionally packaged and insured.
Under the Uniform Commercial Code, risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon confirmed delivery. Buyers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. International buyers are responsible for customs duties and import taxes.
Returns & Refunds
All sales of original artwork are final.
If damage occurs during shipping:

Digital downloads are non-refundable.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under law, Heather Caulfield shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of this website or purchased artwork. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located within the State of The Artists Residence.

Can I reproduce your artwork? All artwork is protected by copyright. Reproduction or commercial use without written permission is strictly prohibited.
Digital Downloads
Do you sell digital downloads? Yes. Select artwork and resources are available as digital downloads. These are for personal use only unless otherwise licensed.

Commissions & Private Work
Do you accept commissions? Select commissions are accepted throughout the year, including portraits and custom fine art pieces.
How do I book a commission? Please use the Contact page to submit an inquiry with details about your request. A consultation will follow if your project aligns with current availability.
Commissioned work requires:

Defined scope and timeline
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Artist retains copyright to commissioned works.
The Artist reserves the right to decline commission requests at her discretion.
Failure to complete agreed payments may result in cancellation and forfeiture of deposits.

Lessons & Events
Do you offer private art lessons? Occasionally, yes. Availability is limited. Please inquire directly for scheduling and pricing.
